We are pleased to advise that formal registration is open from 9th January 2023. Registrations were delayed this year as an additional online component (“Squadi”) was intended to be added to the PlayFootball system by Football Queensland, however this implementation has now been deferred to occur later in the season. Updates relating to the “Squadi” implementation will be advised in due course.
To register for the 2023 Season at Souths United FC, please register ONLINE using the national PlayFootball system (as per previous season) via playfootball.com.au and when selecting your club, please use Souths United Football Club Inc

CLUB SIGN-ON DAY | SATURDAY 21 JANUARY 2023 11am - 4:00pm @ Clubhouse

While registrations are to be completed ONLINE we will have limited volunteers at Souths United FC’s Clubhouse to provide assistance and guidance through the registration process should you require it and answer any questions you may have.
FQ ACADEMY (U9 – U12) & MINIROOS/JUNIOR TRIALS | DATES & TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY.
Following on from the initial FQ Academy Trials (U9 - U12) held in late 2022, further trial sessions will be scheduled during January/February 2023. These dates will be published on both website and Facebook page. An email will also be sent to those who have registered their interest as well as new registrations received.
FAIR PLAY VOUCHERS | ROUND 8 OPENS 25 JANUARY 2023
What is the FairPlay program?
The program provides vouchers up to $150 to support children to get active.
The vouchers can be used for sport and active recreation membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.
There is a limit of one voucher per child per calendar year.

Souths United FC offer a range of programs for all age groups from Ages 3 to Over 35. For season 2023, we are looking expand our football family and continue to deliver to the football needs of our community, fielding teams for the following groups:
- 3-5 Years (Mini Kickoffs)
- MiniRoos (U6 - U12)
- includes Mixed Teams in all age groups
- all girls teams U8 - U12 (where numbers permit. Some teams may necessitate merging of age groups to form teams eg. U8/9, U9/10, U11/12 etc)
- FQ Academy level teams (U9 - U12 years) - grading will continue during January (dates to be announced)
- Juniors (U13 - U16)
- includes Mixed Teams in all age groups
- all girls teams in all age groups (where numbers permit. Some teams may necessitate merging of age groups to form teams eg. U12/13, U13/14, U15/16 etc)
- FQ Academy level teams (U13-U18 years) – trials have been completed and limited vacancies will be advertised where applicable.

* The vision and development of the Senior Women’s program remains a focus on providing both competitive and social pathways suitable to players capabilities and social needs. While the NPL Women’s Stream remains, our commitment to provide higher competition opportunities for our Metro Women’s Team/s for 2023 and beyond, has been expanded to include FQPL 3 Women’s in 2023. We will participate in the FQPL 3 Women’s (Opens and U23’s) while still providing opportunity for players to participate in the Metro 1-5 competition levels if demand is there and where players wish to play in the more social level leagues.
