50 Year Celebrations!

Souths United celebrated its 50th Birthday on Saturday 20 August 2011. There were many exciting activities, including 3 Football games, lots of food and fireworks.

Saturday 20 August from 2.30pm to 9.15pm. You're invited!!! The ROAR are coming too!

Rides and face painting for the children; helium balloons; wine and beer tent for the adults; BBQ and canteen; heaps of lucky program draws throughout the afternoon/evening with great prizes including tickets to the ROAR; the action of the Womens Division 1 and Mens Premier and Reserves teams; half time games by the Under 12 Div 1 Girls, Under 8 Magpies and Parrots and Under 11 Anacondas and Cobras PLUS the night ends with a fireworks display at 9pm. Also Brooke Spence from the ROAR W-League team and Matt Acton from the Roar Youth League will be in attendance for photo ops and autographs. AND ALL THIS IS FREE except food, drink and Souvenir Programs. Gold coin donation buckets will be at the canteen and other places so if you enjoy yourself, give a donation! Entry into ALL the lucky program draws is by purchase of a Commemorative Program ($2.00) which will be on sale throughout the morning as well as the afternoon and evening.
