STRONG DUO TO LEAD THE FQPL PROGRAM AT SOUTHS!

Souths United Football Club is pleased to announce the first of our senior coaching staff that will lead our football operations for the FQPL competition commencing in 2018. Taking on the Senior Director of Football (Mens) role is Mr Graham Ross. Graham is well renowned for his lucrative coaching accomplishments and his ability to enhance football programs at the elite level while balancing the transition of developing youth players into senior football.
Club President Tracey Confessore is enthusiastic by the appointment, “We are excited to have Graham as part of the Souths team and look forward to implementing superior and progressive football experiences and a more professional environment necessary for this level of competition. The refinement of the football operations and building atmosphere will permeate throughout the FQPL teams and across the club.”
Equally keen to be on board at Souths, newly appointed Senior Director of Football (Mens), Ross states, “I’m excited to get started, after not initially looking to get back in the game, the Souths board asked to speak with me and I was very impressed with their vision for the club moving forward and their facilities are first class. The club has a very motivated group of coaches who are willing to learn and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of the new QPL league.”
Strong support will be provided to Ross with the re-signing of Mr Vedran Becirbegovic as Souths United Head Coach - FQPL Senior Mens team. With Becirbegovic, a long term loyal Souths coach, proving to be a key factor to the ascent of Souths Mens first team back to top levels over the past 3 years, this duo will prove to be formidable combination.
“I am delighted to get a chance to coach at our fast growing football club and its inaugural FQPL season. Further, I am looking forward to be working closely with Graham and the rest of the coaching staff. I firmly believe that our 2018 Season will be one that is exciting and highly successful. I also believe that the clubs supporters will definitely enjoy our fast paced attacking style of football.”, says Becirbegovic.

NOBODY IS TO JUMP FENCES TO RETRIEVE BALLS AS MUD WILL BE BROUGHT BACK ONTO THE FIELD EITHER ON SHOES OR BALL
