Vale - Ron Purnell
At this Saturday's Capital 2 home games, Souths United FC will have one minute's silence to acknowledge the passing of Ron Purnell, father of Paul Purnell (Souths Vice President of Mens football), and Grandfather of Nicholas Purnell (Assistant Coach of the U13 SYL team) and our Capital Reserves Goalkeeper, James Purnell.
Family and football were Ron's love and passion. He rarely missed the chance to watch James play and could always be heard encouraging the boys. Ron will be sadly missed.
